Day 4 going ok.
Another busy day where meals times did not work out nicely.
Bfast - yoghurt and oatbran
Lunch - chicken and ham
Dinner - fish
I think I will do 7 days and then go on the cruise phase. I am looking forward to the weekend where I will have more time to exercise.
I am also looking forward to tomorrow, when the new hot water service is put in. It has not been fun without hot water since Monday.

A long time ago...

A long time ago I started this blog, and have been on a journey for longer than that.
So where am I at now...
God is an important part of my everyday. It is great to see my son (now nearly 15) growing, as he journeys also. We are regular attendees of our local church, and I am blessed to be leading a Sunday school class this term. Nick plays the drums every second week and the team are fantastic. So many wonderful mentors, to show how to love God and still be fun and talented.
Family. I have a very loving and supportive family. We had a lovely break over the Christmas holidays at my sisters with my gorgeous nieces. My brother is a long way away in England with a niece and a nephew. They are coming out this year, yeah..
Friends. I am very fortunant to have some loving wonderful women who I am able to be accountable to and share in joys and sorrows.
Work. My work is very rewarding to me, and I love being able to be a part of my local community. Nick is at a local Christian school going into year 9. Not sure where the time has gone.
Life. Life is good. I have a few health issues (overweight, unfit, etc) and so now is the time for change. I have started the Dukan diet (and are being held accountable by a wonderful christian woman), so I am going to tell you all about it...regularly.

Day 1
Bfast - boiled eggs
lunch - slices of turkey meat
dinner - large piece of steak
It was a very busy day, so had no real chance to get hungry. Has a walk (will get faster) for 20 mins. Was fortunant to go to bed at a reasonable time (that is when I snack most). Didn't drink enough water.
Day 2
Bfast - yoghurt and oatbran
lunch - slices of turkey meat
dinner - steak and egg
Another on the go day. The hot water service at home blew up and I need another one ASAP. Luckily they could quote and fix it this week. Will have hot water again by friday night. Still not too hungry. Drank more water today and walked during lunch.
Day 3 (today)
Bfast - eggs and lean ham (scrambled)
lunch - ham slices
dinner - chicken
Today bfast was at 7 am and lunch at 4pm. Very busy at work and not so simple if you do not take your lunch. I will remember this lesson. Was very good as there was a special morning tea with lovely cakes for a staff members birthday, and didn't eat anything, in fact was not even really tempted. Lucky it was not arvo tea, might have been harder. Had my water, but missed out on the walk. Will do better tomorrow.
